Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], October 20 (ANI): Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) party delegation led by President Prof Kodandaram, Prof Vishweshwar Rao and Ambati Srinivas on Friday met Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and extended their unconditional support to the Congress Party for the upcoming State Assembly Elections.
"TJS (Telangana Jana Samithi) party delegation led by President Prof Kodandaram, Prof Vishweshwar Rao and Ambati Srinivas met Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and extended their unconditional support to the Congress Party for the upcoming State Assembly Elections," Congress stated.
Meanwhile, the Congress leader also visited a tea shop in Nizamabad, earlier today where he also interacted with the woman tea seller as well as the children.
Earlier in the day, Rahul Gandhi was also seen trying his hand at making dosa. Visuals showed Wayanad MP standing at a roadside stall in Telangana's Jagtial district. He is seen spreading the dosa batter and spreading it with the bowl. The owner of the dosa shop, who is standing next to Rahul Gandhi is seen guiding him.
Rahul Gandhi is campaigning in Telangana for a third day. Voting in Telangana for the 119 seats is scheduled to be held on November 30.
Telangana is set to witness an intriguing multi-polar contest between the BRS, Congress and the BJP.
In the previous Assembly elections in 2018, the BRS won 88 of the 119 seats, hogging 47.4 per cent of the total vote share. The Congress finished a distant second with 19 seats and a vote share of 28.7 per cent. (ANI)
