Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], April 27 (ANI): Actor-turned-politician and BJP leader Khushbu Sundar campaigned for G Kishan Reddy, state party chief and NDA candidate from Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat, on Saturday.
The BJP leaders held a roadshow in Hyderabad and also participated in a public rally in Jubilee Hills in the constituency.
Speaking at the rally, Khushbu Sundar expressed confidence in BJP winning "most seats" in the country.
Secunderabad, which is considered a Congress stronghold is one of the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana. The voting in Telangana will be held on May 13 in the fourth phase.
The incumbent MP Kishan Reddy is contesting against Congress' Danam Nagender and Bharat Rashtra Samithi's T Padma Rao Goud in Secunderabad.
In the 2019 parliamentary elections, Reddy emerged as the winner receiving 60.87 per cent of the total votes.
In 2019, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) won 9 seats in the state. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured 4 seats. The Indian National Congress (INC) obtained 3 seats. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) won 1 seat. (ANI)
