"Tejashwi Yadav has accepted defeat", claims Bihar's deputy CM Samrat Choudhary

Criticising RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav's statement in Purnia, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said that the statement is a result of someone who has accepted their defeat. It is interesting to note that while addressing a public rally and campaigning for Bima Bharti in Bihar's Purnia, Tejashwi Yadav had said to the people to either vote for the INDIA bloc or the NDA.

Patna (Bihar) [India], April 23 (ANI): Criticising RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav's statement in Purnia, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said that the statement is a result of someone who has accepted their defeat.
It is interesting to note that while addressing a public rally and campaigning for Bima Bharti in Bihar's Purnia on April 22, Tejashwi Yadav had asked to the people to either vote for the INDIA bloc or the NDA. Yadav's appeal was seen as an indirect dig at Papu Yadav who is contesting the Purnia seat as an independent despite having merged his party with the Congress.
Speaking to ANI, Samrat Choudhary said, "This is a statement of frustration, a statement of someone who has accepted defeat. BJP knows that there is no contest, it is winning all 40 seats in the state."
Earlier, on the first phase of Lok Sabha polls, Choudhary had expressed confidence in winning all the seats and said, "The voting percentage is almost equal to that of the last time. This time also all NDA candidates will win with a high margin. NDA will win all four seats with a high margin."
While in Purnia, RJD's Tejashwi Yadav had also questioned Prime Minister Narendra and said, "Modi ji is just a Prime Minister who contests elections, not one who serves the people! It has been 10 years since Modi ji became the Prime Minister but he does not know what are the issues of the public, what are their problems, what are their expectations from the government! Education, health, unemployment, social security, economic upliftment, inclusion... Modi ji is never seen speaking on these issues, he is not concerned about the public at all! He is only concerned about elections!"
Purnia, one of the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, has become a hot seat where the 'Pappu' factor is worrying both Janata Dal (United) and RJD ahead of the second phase of the general elections.
While there was speculation that the INDIA bloc would field Pappu Yadav from Purnia after he joined the Congress party recently, the seat went in the hands of RJD and Bima Bharti was declared the candidate. After being denied the ticket from Purnia, Pappu decided to contest independently.
Elections in Purnia will take place on April 26. (ANI)
