Tejashwi Yadav backs Manoj Jha's claim on agencies "hyperactive" till Ram Temple inauguration

"He is right, he did not say anything wrong. Earlier ED raids were ongoing in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, now that elections are over in these states, they (ED) are going to other states. I have said this earlier as well," Tejashvi Yadav said.

Patna (Bihar) [India], January 2 (ANI): Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashvi Yadav supported Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Jha's statement that the PM Narendra Modi has asked central investigative agencies to be "hyperactive" against opposition leaders till the Ram Janmabhoomi temple inauguration, adding now that elections are over in the Hindi heartland states, the "agencies" are travelling to other states.
"He is right. He did not say anything wrong. Earlier, ED raids were going on in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Now that elections are over in these states, they (ED) are going to other states. I have said this earlier as well," Yadav told ANI on Tuesday.
The Deputy Chief Minister, however, said that this is not the fault of the "agencies" as they are under a lot of political pressure from the central government.
"There is no fault of agencies in this, they are under pressure...," Yadav said.
The Deputy Chief Minister added that these raids have become a "routine" exercise now.
"It has become routine now," Yadav said.
RJD national spokesman and Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Kumar Jha on Tuesday said in a press conference that he has "credible information" that the ED, CBI and Income Tax department have been asked by the central government to be "hyperactive" against opposition party leaders till the Ram Janmabhoomi temple inauguration.
