New Delhi [India], July 19 (ANI): IndiGo decides to lift the said ban on Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP J C Diwakar Reddy, who was a part of their "no fly" list due to the ruckus he had created at the Vizag airport last month. On Wednesday, senior IndiGo officials met Reddy at a launch event, hosted by senior TDP MP Y S Chaudhary. The meeting between the two ended on a positive note, with the issue being amicably resolved. "Senior IndiGo officials today met Honourable Member of Parliament Mr. Diwakar Reddy, at a lunch hosted by senior Member of Parliament Mr. Y S Chaudhary, to resolve the issue of Honourable Member Mr. Diwakar Reddy's ban on IndiGo flights. The issue is amicably resolved between the two and IndiGo has decided to lift the said ban with immediate effect and Mr Reddy is withdrawing the case he has filed," read a statement by Indigo. Adding, "The Federation of Indian Airlines has also been informed about the decision. IndiGo appreciate and thanks the member airlines for their continued support." For the unversed, Reddy allegedly manhandled IndiGo's ground staff at Vizag Airport on June 15, after which, he was banned from flying. (ANI)
