Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh) [India], October 23 (ANI): Alleging corruption by the YSRCP government led by Jagan Mohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said that TDP has joined hands with Jana Sena for the welfare and development of the state, and termed it a good sign for the state.
TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh on Monday chaired the Joint Action Committee meeting in Rajahmundry.
After the three hours long meetings held in Rajahmundry, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said that for the welfare and development of the state TDP and Jana Sena joined hands together and followers have awaited this movement for the last three years.
He further said that we are not against YSRCP we are against their principles and corruption.
"Jagan before the 2019 elections said that liquor would be banned in the state but today liquor sales have increased in the state. He didn't fulfil his promises. Sand mining and liquor are looted by the ruling party in the state," he added.
Meanwhile, TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh asserted that we will work together and a lot of issues regarding the manifesto and action plan were discussed in this session.
"Soon we will release a combined manifesto for upcoming polls," he added.
TDP general secretary further alleged that SC, ST and BCs are brutally attacked in the state including government employees.
"We will organize meetings on October 29, 30, and 31. A resolution was passed in today's meeting against the illegal arrest of Chandra Babu Naidu. This meeting was not held for power and positions. Our slogan is to develop and develop welfare, not welfare," he said.
Janasena Party President Pawan Kalyan reached Rajahmundry for the first meeting of the joint action Committee of the Janasena and Telugu Desam parties.
Party leaders and workers gave him a warm welcome at the Rajahmundry airport. Nadendla Manohar reached Rajahmundry along with Pawan Kalyan.
Earlier Telugu Party general secretary along with their family met his father former CM Chandra Babu Naidu at Rajahmundry Central Prison as part of "mulkath". Later Nara participated in a joint action committee meeting at Manjira Hotel. (ANI)
