Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Oct. 23 (ANI): Taking a strong note to the current all-out war within the Samajwadi Party family, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel on Sunday said the party has now proven that it's incapable of ruling Uttar Pradesh any more, adding that if there is an alteration to the corruption of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the hooliganism of the Samajwadi Party, then it is the coalition of Apna Dal and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

SP has proven it's incapable of ruling UP any more: Anupriya Patel
Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Oct. 23 (ANI): Taking a strong note to the current all-out war within the Samajwadi Party family, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel on Sunday said the party has now proven that it's incapable of ruling Uttar Pradesh any more, adding that if there is an alteration to the corruption of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the hooliganism of the Samajwadi Party, then it is the coalition of Apna Dal and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). "Democracy has demolished in Uttar Pradesh as monarchy is prevalent there. Ministers are appointed and expelled and then again re-appointed. We should understand that the Samajwadi Party is a sinking ship. Everyone is writing letters and mudslinging at each other. They are proving it time and again that socialism has come to an end. Today they have proved that they are not capable to rule Uttar Pradesh," Patel told ANI. "If there is an alteration to the corruption of the Bahujan Samaj Party and the hooliganism of the Samajwadi Party then it is the coalition of Apna Dal and the Bharatiya Janata Party," she added. Patel further said that the people of Uttar Pradesh have accepted this coalition, adding that she was confident of the coalition of Apna Dal and the BJP proving its majority in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from Shivpal Singh Yadav, Narad Rai, Saiyyada Shadab Fatima and O.P. Singh are the other three leaders, who have been axed by the Chief Minister post the meeting called by him today. Barabanki MLC Rajesh Yadav, who attended the meeting, lashed out at party leader Amar Singh for attempting to create friction in the Samajwadi Party. This development came as a section of the Samajwadi Party leaders had earlier reportedly alleged that Amar Singh after coming back to the party was misinforming Mulayam Singh Yadav about the people and misleading him. They also reportedly alleged that Amar Singh was making desperate attempts to portray Akhilesh as weak and prevent the Samajwadi Party from coming back to power. Akhilesh had prior to today's meeting to discuss the power struggle within the party met his father Mulayam Singh Yadav. Reports suggest that the conversation between the father and son duo mostly revolved around Ram Gopal Yadav's letter to the party workers asking them to stand behind his nephew. The Chief Minister's action comes hours after Samajwadi Party general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav wrote a letter to party leaders to rally behind the former, thereby adding a major twist to the entire family tussle. In his one-page letter, Ram Gopal stated that the Samajwadi Party would yet again form the government in Uttar Pradesh under Akhilesh's leadership. (ANI)
