“Soren, Congress turned Ranchi into Karachi…”: MP CM Mohan Yadav

"Put your hands together for Bharat Ratna Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee who created this new state for us and made Ranchi its capital, it was our good fortune. But unfortunately, I have to say that we have to remember our neighbouring enemy country Pakistan, which is known for lies, deceit, cunningness and insulting Hindus every day. Unfortunately, Hemant Soren and Congress people have turned our Ranchi into Karachi. It is very unfortunate, so we have to bring back the glory of Ranchi by voting BJP into power," CM Yadav said.

Palamu (Jharkhand) [India], November 8 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav criticised Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren and the Congress party, accusing them of transforming Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand, into "Karachi," a city in Pakistan. He stated that restoring Ranchi's former glory requires voting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) into power in the upcoming state assembly election.
CM Yadav made these remarks during a public gathering in the Panki assembly constituency in Jharkhand's Palamu district on Friday as part of the BJP's election campaign.
Addressing the crowd, Yadav said that the overwhelming applause indicated the imminent departure of the Hemant Soren government and the arrival of a BJP-led government in the state. He also paid tribute to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna awardee, the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, expressing gratitude for his role in the formation of Jharkhand.
"Applaud Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who created this new state for us with Ranchi as its capital. It was our good fortune. Sadly, I must say that Ranchi now reminds us of Pakistan, a nation associated with lies, deceit, cunning, and daily insults to Hindus. Hemant Soren and the Congress have unfortunately turned Ranchi into Karachi. We must bring back its lost glory by voting the BJP into power," CM Yadav said.
He further alleged that CM Soren and the Congress party were responsible for the gradual decline of the Hindu population due to the influx of Bangladeshi immigrants.
"Those responsible for the dwindling Hindu population, due to Bangladeshi intruders, are the Congress, Hemant Soren, and their alliance, the INDIA bloc," Yadav claimed.
He asserted that the combined tribal and Hindu population, once at 44 per cent, has now reduced to 28 per cent, with a seven per cent decline in the Hindu population and a four per cent rise in the Muslim population, attributing this change to the INDIA bloc's policies.
"If we are not vigilant, even our Holi, Diwali, and Krishna Janmashtami celebrations will be at risk. This election is crucial to safeguarding our culture and preserving Sanatan values," he added.
Yadav argued that no country in the world encourages foreign intruders, pointing out that nations prioritise their citizens' welfare. However, in pursuit of votes, he said, Congress and its allies welcome these immigrants and allow them undue freedom, turning a blind eye to their actions. He characterised this election as an opportunity to eliminate these transgressions.
The 81-member Jharkhand Assembly will hold elections in two phases, on November 13 and 20, with vote counting scheduled for November 23. A total of 2.6 crore voters, including 1.31 crore men, 1.29 crore women, 11.84 lakh first-time voters, and 66.84 lakh young voters, are eligible to participate.
In the 2020 Assembly elections, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) won 30 seats, the BJP secured 25, and the Congress took 16 seats. In the 2014 election, the BJP won 37 seats, JMM 19, and Congress only 6. (ANI)
