Sonu has ridiculed his Guru Mohd. Rafi's religion: Ejaz Khan
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Apr 18 (ANI): Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam raked up a fresh controversy after an unexpected Twitter rant against 'azaan,' following which he was mercilessly trolled on the social media. Since then, while a few Bollywood and TV personalities have sided with the ace singer, many have condemned the way in which Nigam expressed his anger. Former Bigg Boss inmate and actor Ejaz Khan didn't mince words while criticising Nigam and said he had ridiculed the religion of late legendary singer Mohammad Rafi, who he considered his Guru. "First, I would like to clearly state that 'Azaan' was taking palce and it will take place. We should respect all other religions. When the Ganpathi festival begins, whole Bombay remains shut for 10 days, we don't even complain. Has Sonu nigam been sleeping for the past 50 years?" Khan said. "And Sonu Nigam, who considers Mohd. Rafi his Guru, has ridiculed the religion of his Guru. These type of statements have the capacity to rile people up. I urge him to stop targetting one particular religion," he added. Sonu Nigam, a day before, lost several fans after he went on a religious rant, early in the morning. On being woken up to the sound of azaan, the singer took to Twitter to slam the practice. Terming it as 'forced religiousness,' he tweeted, "God bless everyone. I'm not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India." “Govt must clarify LPG reserves, supply timelines to public

"The government should clarify - what is the amount of reserves in our country presently, how much is left, how much can be consumed over how many days, and by when are they expecting that the LPG supply would be normalised. I believe the government is having talks; the people of this nation also need to be told about the current situation. If there is a crisis of energy, then by when the government plans to resolve it should also be clarified to the people, especially to the common man," he said.
