Smriti Irani celebrates Raksha Bandhan at Siachen, ties rakhi to valiant soldiers

Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh on Thursday flew MiG-29UPG multi-role aircraft solo sortie from one of the frontline fighter bases of India, and reviewed the operational preparedness of a base in Western Air Command.

The Air Chief also reviewed the operational preparedness of a base in Western Air Command (WAC). The exact location of the MiG 29 sortie, and the WAC base has not been revealed due to security reasons.

The 72 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a free medical camp on Thursday in Jamola, a remote hilly area of Rajouri. Jitendra Singh Yadav, the Commanding Officer of the 72 Battalion CRPF, stated, "This medical camp has been organised by the 72 Battalion. We have organised these camps in other places also, because this is a very remote area, and people might not get the proper medical facilities."

On the eve of International Women's Day and continuing its sustained efforts towards community welfare and accessible healthcare, Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Hiangtam Lamka, Churachandpur, Manipur, on March 7, in collaboration with Metro Zone Health Services Private Limited, MSRLM and Churachandpur Medical College.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Haridwar on Friday to review the arrangements for the grand event "Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar: Char Saal Bemisaal" to be held in Haridwar on Saturday, March 7. He also issued necessary directions to officials.
