Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik speaking to ANI in Mumbai

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Feb 25 (ANI): Maharashtra Minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik on Tuesday said that even though the situation has worsened in Delhi but the BJP government at the Centre has remained mum.
Seven people, including one police head constable, have lost their lives and over 100 were injured in the clashes between pro and anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protesters in North-East Delhi on Monday.
"The situation in Delhi has worsened, people are protesting. Provocative statements have been given by the BJP ministers and leaders to disturb the law and order situation but the government is mum, taking no action against those who are provoking the people," Malik told ANI.
"There was a huge chaos in Delhi yesterday, the situation has worsened. But the government is not serious, they want political mileage from this situation," he added. (ANI)
