"We are not getting any real output or support from the government. I only heard that an official named Amol Sonawane from Baramati offered a cheque of Rs 5 lakh," he said.

Nationalist Congress Party-SCP MP Supriya Sule on Wednesday expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the allies of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), particularly the Congress and the Shiv Sena-UBT, for naming her father, Sharad Pawar, for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.

He added that while Congress had initially claimed the seat, coordination with NCP and adherence to Maha Vikas Aghadi ethics led to backing Pawar, reflecting unity among alliance partners ahead of crucial elections.

A local protestor, Mahesh Kadam, said that this year, during Holika Dahan, a Holika featuring the VSR company's aircraft and its logo was burnt as a symbolic protest, highlighting that even after more than a month since the passing of Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister, no investigation had been initiated into the circumstances of his death.

Jay Pawar, son of late Ajit Pawar, has questioned the preliminary report issued by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) in connection with the recent plane crash, which claimed five life's, including Former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and sought stringent action against VSR Ventures if safety lapses are established.
