Etah (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 2 (ANI): In a blistering attack on the Congress Party and Samajwadi Party on Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the parties' proposal to provide reservations to Muslims at the expense of backward castes and scheduled castes was an insult to the Constitution of Bhimrao Ambedkar.
Addressing a public meeting in Etah in favour of Bharatiya Janata Party's Lok Sabha candidate, Rajveer Singh Raju Bhaiya, Yogi said, "Congress intends to 'Islamize' India by imposing Taliban rule in the country and push the country towards another partition. Beware of this alliance between the Congress and the SP and their agenda!"
"It is the same Congress, which used to say that Lord Ram was never born. However, we went ahead with the nation's belief, raising the slogan, 'Ram Lala Hum Ayenge, Mandir Vahi Banayenge'. And finally, we got the grand Ram Lala temple built in Ayodhya," Yogi Adityanath remarked further.
He acknowledged the pivotal role of revered figures like Kalyan Singh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership in this endeavour. Further, Yogi Adityanath highlighted the historic visit of the President of India to the Ram temple, symbolizing the nation's collective reverence for Lord Ram. He urged the people to remember these achievements and underscored the importance of preserving the nation's cultural heritage and values.
Presenting a stark contrast between the NDA and the INDIA bloc, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged voters to reflect on whether parties like the Samajwadi Party and Congress, which disrespect Lord Ram, deserve support. Furthermore, Yogi lamented the lack of condolences from the Samajwadi Party following the passing of the late Kalyan Singh.
"Raju Pal and Umesh Pal were murdered during the SP rule. Today, their murderers have got a taste of their own medicine," he added.
He emphasized the Bharatiya Janata Party's commitment to the people's welfare, contrasting it with the indifference of other parties.
Adityanath praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, noting India's heightened global standing and improved security under his governance. He lauded the BJP's efforts in curbing terrorism and Naxalism while spearheading developmental initiatives that pave the way for a self-reliant and prosperous India.
Adityanath criticized the Congress and Samajwadi Party's agenda for undermining reservation policies and advocating for minority dietary freedoms, questioning their stance on cow meat consumption, which conflicts with Hindu beliefs. Despite the state's prohibition on cow slaughter, he accused Congress and Samajwadi Party of seeking to legalize it, against the majority's sentiments.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the late Kalyan Singh dedicated his life to the development of Uttar Pradesh.
"He even relinquished his chair for the Ram Janmabhoomi cause. Today, his dream has been realized. What BJP has done across the country, the Congress, SP, and BSP would never have been able to do", Yogi pointed out.
He said, "The completion of the Ram temple stands as a testament to faith, and the prevalence of the phrase "Ram Naam Satya" among mafias represents the establishment of rule of law in the state."
Adityanath questioned the ability of rival parties to ensure national security, urging voters to reject them.
In homage to the revered Kalyan Singh, Adityanath called upon the electorate to support BJP's Lok Sabha candidate Rajveer Singh Raju Bhaiya, entrusting the nation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the realization of a 'Self-Reliant and Developed India.'
Amongst dignitaries present were state government minister Sunil Sharma, esteemed MP, BJP District President Sandeep Jain, District President Kasganj KP Singh Solanki, Lok Sabha in-charge Nagendra Dubey, and Lok Sabha convenor Paprendra Pal Singh Pappu Bhaiya. (ANI)
