Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 14 (ANI): Calling Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) a "terrorist organisation," Congress leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Husain Dalwai said on Thursday that they teach violence to people.
"RSS is a terrorist organisation, because they teach violence to people. There are four things which RSS teaches kids. First thing is how to lie... Second, they teach violence, it is completely wrong. This is (Mahatma) Gandhi's nation, divisions get amplified due to this and in a way people get scared. They want to keep people scared," Dalwai told ANI.
Saying that he has "proof" of RSS being a terrorist organisation which teaches violence, Dalwai added.
"RSS is a terrorist organisation, and I am giving proof of that. First proof is that Deendayal, the founder of Jan Sangh, he was murdered. To investigate the murder, a committee was formed under the leadership of (Balraj) Madhok," Dalwai said.
"For three months Madhok went around and prepared a report, they went to Varanasi, and many other places. But the report has been kept hidden. He also published a book, in which he detailed everything about this report," he said.
Further claiming that the organisation is responsible for killing Mahatma Gandhi, Dalwai added, "They killed Gandhi, and today also they don't apologise for it. That he was killed, it is our fault, they don't say it today and have never said it."
The Congress leader also dismissed any claims of him calling any Hindu person a terrorist, saying that a Hindu is someone who follows the tradition of India.
"Lekin yeh jan boochke yeh bhi unke pravakta bolte hai, esa mene suna, ki Husain Dalwai Hindu ko aanatgwadi kehte hai, bilkul nahi, Hindu aatanwadi kese ho sakta hai? (I have heard that their spokesperson say that Husain Dalwai calls Hindu as terrorists, that is not true, how can a Hindu be a terrorist?)," he told ANI.
"Hindu is the one who follows the full tradition of India, the tradition of Maharashtra, like Tukaram Maharaj, Dnyaneshwar Maharaj...We believe on Mahatma Phule, on Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Shivaji Maharaj...," he added. (ANI)
