Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Nov. 25 (ANI): A wreath laying ceremony of bravehearts policemen Head Constable Tanvir Ahmad and Constable Jalal-ud-din, who died in militant attack, was held at District Police Lines in Kulgam on Friday. Deputy Inspector General of Police, South Kashmir Range, Nitesh Kumar led the civil, police officers and jawans in laying floral wreaths on the bodies of the bravehearts, which was attended among others by DC Kulgam Showkat Aijaz Bhat, SSP Kulgam Shridhar Patil, CO 18th bn CRPF Hanzang, jawans, civilians and family members of the slain policemen. Three policemen were injured after militants fired upon a naka party at the main market in Kulgam in the jurisdiction of Kulgam Police Station. Among the injured two policemen - Head Constable Tanvir Ahmad and Constable Jalal-ud-din residents of Kulgam - succumbed to their injuries, while another Constable Shamis-ud-Din was shifted to a Srinagar hospital for treatment, said a police statement here.
