Revanth's regime leading to "economic destruction" of Telangana: BRS' KT Rama Rao

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], October 3 (ANI): Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao on Friday hit out at the Congress government in Telangana, accusing Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of pushing the state into economic decline.
"Another symptom of Telangana's economic destruction under Revanth! It is a matter of deep shame that Telangana has slipped to the bottom of the country in GST growth rate for September 2025. Just two years ago, under KCR's leadership, Telangana proudly stood number one in the nation," KTR wrote on X.
The BRS leader alleged that the Congress government had failed to manage the economy, resulting in a collapse across sectors.
"This sharp decline is proof of how badly the economy is being mishandled under Revanth Reddy. During the BRS regime, every sector, from agriculture to IT, flourished and set new benchmarks. Today, under Congress, every sector from farming to real estate is collapsing. Revanth's regime, marked by chaos, corruption, and inexperience, is leading to the economic destruction of the state," added the post.
Earlier, KT Rama Rao has declared that BRS is fully prepared for the upcoming local body elections and is confident of sweeping the polls from the 'galli' (street) level to Delhi.
Addressing party workers at Telangana Bhavan on September 29, KT Rama Rao asserted that the Congress government was headed for a humiliating defeat as people across the state had lost faith and were once again turning towards K. Chandrashekhar Rao's leadership.
Welcoming senior TDP leader Pradeep Chowdhary from Jubilee Hills, along with other political functionaries, into the BRS fold under the leadership of MLC L. Ramana, KT Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on the ruling party.
He stated that the recently initiated 'Debt Card' campaign would serve as the "Brahmastra" to dismantle the Revanth Reddy government. "The Congress symbol of the hand has turned into a hand of destruction for its own party. The Debt Card movement will script the downfall of this government by highlighting how it failed to deliver on its guarantees," he remarked. (ANI)
