Revanth Reddy congratulates newly sworn-in ministers from Telugu states

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], June 10 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Monday congratulated the newly appointed ministers from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Reddy also requested the newly sworn-in leader to implement the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014 and secure funds, schemes, and projects from the Centre for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
"Congratulations to G Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, K Rammohan Naidu, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, and Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma who took oath as Union Ministers from Telugu states. I request that efforts should be made to implement the provisions of the Reorganization Act and the funds, schemes and projects that should come from the Center to the Telugu states," Telangana CM said in a post on X.


Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister for his third successive term at an impressive ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday evening with 71 MPs from the BJP and its allies joining the party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government.
PM Modi is the second Indian leader to win a third term after former prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
PM Modi's ministers' team has 30 Cabinet ministers, five Ministers of State with Independent charge and 36 Ministers of State.
Among those who were sworn in are Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman and S Jaishankar. BJP President JP Nadda, who was the health minister in the Union Cabinet during the first term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was brought back this time.
While former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was inducted as a Cabinet minster for the very first time. Four former chief ministers -- Jiten Ram Manjhi, Manohar Lal Khattar, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and HD Kumaraswamy -- took oaths as Union ministers.
The Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA secured 293 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. BJP won 240 seats on its own. In the 543-strong lower house of the Indian parliament, 272 is the minimum majority figure. (ANI)
