Retd J-K top cop Shafaqat Watali joins NC

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Mar 8 (ANI): Retired Inspector General of Police Shafaqat Watali joined the National Conference (NC) on Friday in the presence of party president Farooq Abdullah.

Retired Inspector General of Police Shafaqat Watali joined NC in presence of party president Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah on Friday

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Mar 8 (ANI): Retired Inspector General of Police Shafaqat Watali joined the National Conference (NC) on Friday in the presence of party president Farooq Abdullah.
Speaking to ANI, Watali said, "I consider myself lucky to be a part of the National Conference. It is another way to serve the people of Valley."
Apart from the NC chief, his son and party Vice President Omar Abdullah and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion.
Terming NC as a pro-people party, Watali said he aims to strengthen the party further.
"I request all regional parties of the valley to come together and join NC as it is the largest party of the valley," he added. (ANI)
