Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], January 16 (ANI): Describing democracy as the best system of governance in the world, Chhattisgarh's Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma stated that he is ready to talk to Naxals through video call.
Speaking to media persons at Raipur on Tuesday, Sharma, who also holds the portfolio of the home department, said "I am ready to talk to naxals on video call. If they did not want to come forward then I am ready to talk to them on video call. Ask them the reason for opposing development and tell me which government exploits people in democracy."
Democracy is the best system of governance in the world, added the Deputy CM.
When asked about Naxals, who usually oppose the construction of roads and bridges, recently dropped pamphlets demanding roads, the Deputy CM replied that the insurgents should issue a letter letting open schools in every village.
