Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], Mar 12 (ANI): Outgoing Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat on Sunday took responsibility for the Congress' dismal show in the state and said that it was his shortcomings that he could not lead the grand old party on the path of success. "I accept my defeat and take the responsibility for downfall of the Congress Party. I could not lead my party on the path of success. I take responsibility. The debacle was a result of my shortcomings," he told ANI. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won with a clear majority in the state with 57 seats in the70-member assembly, ousting the Congress led by Rawat. The Congress bagged just 11 seats.
