"Raut should come to MP, see money deposited to women's accounts": CM Yadav on Shiv Sena (UBT) leader's remark on Ladli Behna Yojana

"It is brought to my notice that Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has said that beneficiaries of Ladli Behna Yojana are not getting money and the scheme has been closed. I would like to say that Raut should come to Madhya Pradesh and see how money is being deposited in the bank accounts of 1.29 crore women. Ever since we started the scheme, money has been deposited in bank accounts of beneficiaries every month," CM Yadav told ANI.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 9 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav retaliated on Wednesday over Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut's recent remarks on Ladli Behna Yojana saying the latter should come to state and see the money deposited to the bank accounts of beneficiaries of the scheme.
CM Yadav also said that money was being deposited in the accounts of women beneficiaries every month ever since the scheme was implemented in the state.
The chief minister further expressed his hope that with the recent introduction of a simmilar scheme in Maharashtra, the BJP would come to power in the state once again in the upcoming assembly elections.
"The way the leaders of Shiv Sena (UBT) want to mislead the voters in the upcoming Maharashtra elections due to fear of defeat, the public will not fall into their trap. With the trust of our scheme, the BJP government will definitely be formed in Maharashtra once again. I appeal to all voters not to fall prey to false conspiracies," CM said.
"Ladli Behans have told me that they will file a complaint with the police because they have insulted us. I replied they are free to do so. This is the amount for women empowerment which we cannot even think of stopping. We hope that the lives of women improve under the scheme," he added.
Recently, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said that Ladli Behna Yojana failed in Madhya Pradesh and the economy of the state had collapsed.
"The Ladli Behna Yojana has not been successful in any part of the nation. It is just a political game...Ladli Behna Yojana has also not been successful in Madhya Pradesh and the economy of the state has collapsed. The Maharashtra government is working by taking thousands of lakhs of debt...Ladli Behna Yojana will run for a month then it will be closed," Raut said. (ANI)
