Ram Gopal or Shivpal, SP's internal rift won't end, predicts Mayawati
New Delhi [India], Nov. 17(ANI): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Thursday asserted that no matter how much the Samajwadi Party (SP) tries to mend fences; the internal rift end anytime soon. "Even if the Samajwadi Party brings back Ram Gopal Yadav or makes Shivpal Yadav a minister, the dispute within the SAPA family has deepened and has divided it into two parts. One is Akhilesh and the second is Shivpal. No matter how much they try to cover up and give an impression that the family dispute has ended in front of the media, it has not ended and a deep ditch has been created in the Lok Sabha," she told the media. She further said that the Samajwadi Party will try to give an impression that the fight within the family has ended, but one side will try to put down the other side in the elections. "Samajwadi Party's base vote, that of Yadavs, will get divided because of this feud in the family, and this will benefit the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In this situation if the Muslims give even a small percentage of votes to SAPA, that will benefit the Bharatiya Janata Party. I have confidence that the Muslim community will not make mistakes. I would like to warn the community that they should not divide their vote and that they should give their vote after much thinking." she said. Mayawati's prediction came hours after SP patriarch, Mulayam Singh Yadav reinstated Ram Gopal Yadav. "This was bound to happen. It is because of the blessings of Netaji as he was never against me," Yadav told ANI here. "I was always part of the party; I had never left it, though I was ousted technically," he added. At the height of the Samajwadi Party family feud, Ram Gopal Yadav was expelled on the instructions of Mulayam Singh on October 23. (ANI)
