Rajnath Singh assures to resolve grievances of J-K students studying in Jaipur
New Delhi [India], Sept. 3 (ANI): Learning of their plight from the media, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh intervened quickly to help the students from Jammu, Srinagar and Ladakh studying at Gyan Vihar University in Jaipur, Rajasthan. On hearing the news, Singh first called Rajasthan Education Minister Kalicharan Saraf and obtained the phone numbers of some students. On talking to them, he learnt that the students had some difficulties in getting their scholarship under the Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme. Singh has asked Saraf to sort out the operational difficulty by September 5 and has told the students to meet him on September 6 in Delhi, immediately on return from his Jammu and Kashmir tour on September 4 - 5, if the problem still persists.
