Rajnath launches grievance redressal app for CAPF jawans
New Delhi [India] May 11 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said he is only a click away from the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) jawans as they have a digital option to share their grievances. He was speaking after launching the mobile app for the CAPF here. He said that "I am now only a click away from our security forces as I want to be connected with every jawan". "Today all the CAPF jawans got an option to register their grievances with the home ministry," said the Home Minister. Lauding the discipline of the security forces, the Home Minister said it is emulative for the common man. "Our jawans should be offensive as well as defensive," he added. The Home Ministry decided to launch a grievance redressal mobile app for the jawans of CAPF after a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan-Tej Bahadur Yadav-took to social media to air his grievances about the poor quality of food. The CAPF includes jawans from the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).(ANI)
