Rajasthan govt. not working to achieve numbers, but to fulfill promises, says Vasundhara Raje
New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has said that the government is not working to achieve numbers for TRP but their aim is to fulfill the promises made and work for the welfare of the people of the state. She appealed to the media to cooperate to highlight the good works done by the government. She said Rajasthan Model of Development is making its identity in country and around the globe. Addressing the 'Business Standard Rajasthan Round Table - 2016' at hotel Marriott on Wednesday, she said steps like creating investor friendly atmosphere, introducing labour reforms, strengthening of infrastructure, Ease of Doing Business etc. has brought Rajasthan in the front line of investment destinations of the country. The Chief Minister said people generally talk about negative things while positive side should also be seen. "Media can play important role in highlighting the works done. Positive works in the state should also be appreciated," she said. She assured that things are going to change in the state in the next two and half years. "Our labour sector reforms that aimed at Ease of Doing Business by small units without compromising the interests of labour are the benchmark for the rest of the country. Through 'Nyay Aapke Dwar' campaign more than 20,000 camps have been organised in these two years. Total 522 Gram Panchayats were declared litigation free; 15 lakh revenue records were updated and more than 69 lakh families have been benefited in these camps, she said. The Chief Minister, while mentioning Resurgent Rajasthan summit, said our aim never was to achieve numbers. "We engaged with our industry partners and presented them incentives that were attractive. 470 MoUs with an investment projection of USD 50.26 Billion have been signed so far. A large proportion of the proposed projects are in various stages of implementation. The next step is to bring to the farmer the best in technology. In November this year, the Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet is being organized with this objective in mind," she said. (ANI)
