Rahul immature, doesn't know history of his own family: Meenakshi Lekhi
New Delhi [India], July 12 (ANI): Congress vice President, Rahul Gandhi's latest tweet has come under siege from the Bharatiya Janata Party, with Meenakshi Lekhi, spokesperson, saying in a press conference that "he doesn't know what personal gains anybody would get from bloodshed." "It only shows an immature mind who doesn't know the history of his own family," she said. She further added that if anybody should be responsible for the mess in Kashmir, it is none other than the Nehru family. "Whatever is happening in Kashmir, one percent can be blamed on Nehru himself," Lekhi said. "Post Nehru's policies that Congress followed and Jihadi, Islamists terrorism that happened in 1990s I think he would do well to get the correct briefing from his staff," she added. G V L Narasimha Rao, BJP member said that Rahul Gandhi and his family have worked for their personal gains while Prime Minister Narendra Modi has only worked for the nation's interest. "Rahul Gandhi has lost hope of reviving his party in India and therefore is using this language of Pakistan to possibly get some followers on twitter from Pakistan," he said. He further added that it's a betrayal of India when leaders of Congress party attack the Indian army while highlighting the name of Burhan Wani. Rao said, "When Rahul Gandhi makes this kind of attack on the government, rather than attacking the terrorist he is acting as a mouth piece of our hostile neighbor." He also added that Rahul cannot get away by hurting the national interest. Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday tweeted "Modi's personal gain= India's strategic loss + sacrifice of innocent Indian blood" condemning the Amarnath attacks. (ANI)
