Nagina (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Mar 31 (ANI): Congress party president Rahul Gandhi has gone to Kerala “in a bid to win on the politics of polarisation,” said BJP president Amit Shah here on Sunday.
“I read on WhatsApp that Rahul Gandhi has run towards Kerala, leaving Amethi behind. Why has he escaped to Kerala? All of you know that this time Rahul Gandhi is done in Amethi. So he is going to Kerala in a bid to win on the politics of polarisation,” said Shah here, while addressing an election rally.
Shah’s statement comes in the wake of the Congress' announcement that Rahul Gandhi will be contesting from Wayanad parliamentary constituency in Kerala along with Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.
He said the Congress has pinned a terrorist tag on Hindus. “You can’t hide the truth. This judgment has proved that Swami Aseemanand and others are not guilty,” he said.
A special court in Panchkula recently acquitted all four accused in Samjhauta Express blast case, as the National Investigation Agency (NIA) failed to prove any of the charges against them. Besides Swami Aseemanand, Lokesh Sharma, Kamal Chauhan, and Rajinder Chaudhary were acquitted in the case.
“It is the policy of our government. If they shoot, we will fire shells. We have always been committed to responding to bricks with stones,” said Shah.
He said the people of the country praise Prime Minister Narendra Modi for attacking Pakistan but Rahul Gandhi’s mentor Sam Pitroda says that the attack was not a good option.
“They are asking for the evidence of the airstrikes. Why are you asking us? Go and watch Pakistani TV channels. They are crying that India has attacked them,” he said.
Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted air-strikes on the biggest training camp of the terror outfit--Jaish-e-Mohammad--in Pakistan’s Balakot last month.
It was India’s reply to the audacious terror attack on a CRPF convoy in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on February 14 in which around 40 CRPF personnel were killed. JeM claimed the responsibility for the terror attack. (ANI)
