Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 8 (ANI): Fearing "India's Hamas," Rahul Gandhi did not say anything against the terror group Hamas, which killed over 1,000 people in Israel last month, BJP leader and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma claimed here on Wednesday.
"Israel and Palestine are at war. We do not have a problem with Palestine, but the terrorist organisation Hamas shot children and took hostage more than 500 people from Israel. PM Modi condemned this. What did Rahul Gandhi say? He did not say a single word against Hamas. He did not say anything because he knew that if he spoke anything against the Hamas in Israel, then the Hamas in India would have criticised him," Sarma said.
"Fearing India's Hamas, Rahul Gandhi did not say anything about Hamas," he said while addressing an election rally in Khandwa.
According to The Times of Israel, the devastating attack by the Palestinian terror group on Israel on October 7 killed almost 1,400 people, 1,000 of them civilians.
Stating that voting for Congress means encouragement of the "Babars" in the country, Sarma said, "When Congress gets votes, 'Aurangzebs' get vitamins. If Congress wins, the Babars and Aurangzeb will start their atrocities on our people all over India. Congress won in Karnataka and Babars and Aurangzebs have got oxygen. Chaos has started there. Congress wins and their mischiefs begin immediately. This is their politics. We have to reject the Hindutva of the 'Chunavi' Congress."
Assam Chief Minister further stated that Congress leader Digvijaya Singh only opens his mouth to speak against the Hindus in the country. Sarma also called for the eradication of Congress from the country.
"Digvijaya Singh speaks so much against the Hindus, I feel enraged. It is his fashion to speak against Hindus every day. Kamal Nath says he is a Hanuman devotee, and if Digvijaya Singh opens his mouth, it is to abuse Hindus and when he closes his mouth, it is after abusing Hindus. There should definitely be a 'Kapda-faad' competition between them. The problems of this country will keep increasing until the Congress is eradicated from the country," Sarma said.
Madhya Pradesh is going to polls on November 17 and the counting of votes will take place on December 3. Voters will choose legislators from 230 Assembly constituencies. (ANI)
