Barmer (Rajasthan) [India], April 23 (ANI): Union Minister of State and Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Kailash Choudhary said on Tuesday that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi can neither become the Prime Minister nor will he ever be able to lead the country because today the public is with PM Modi.
Kailash Choudhary told ANI that the opposition doesn't have any vision and people have already rejected them.
"In the coming times, Rahul Gandhi can neither become the Prime Minister nor will he ever be able to lead the country because today the public is with PM Modi. With all the work he did for the country in 10 years, I think people are with him. They (Opposition) don't have vision and people have rejected them," he said.
"Every work of the BJP is important. PM Modi's resolve is to develop India by 2047. He is moving forward, thinking 25 years ahead. In the coming time, such works will be done that will take India to the world stage," he added.
Further, the BJP candidate from the Barmer constituency said that Congress could not fulfil the announcements it had made when in power but the sankalp PM Modi took have been fulfiled.
"Congress made announcements when it was in power, and those announcements are still mere announcements. They could not fulfil it. They announce but don't work on it. But the BJP fulfils the 'sankalp' that it takes through 'sankalp patra'. All the 'sankalp' that PM Modi took in 'sankalp patra' earlier have been fulfilled and they will be fulfilled even in the time to come. Congress makes just hollow announcements," Kailash Choudhary said.
He also asserted that PM Modi resides in the hearts of every individual with all the work he has done in the last 10 years.
"They consider him a part of their family. As far as the 'Ghamandia' alliance is concerned, they will never be able to announce their PM candidate. They can never unite, they have so many PM post contenders that they are busy blocking each other. People are with PM Modi and we are going to form a government with 400 plus seats," the Union MoS said.
Launching a scathing attack on independent candidate Ravindra Singh Bhati, Kailash Choudhary said that he is a B-team member of the Congress.
"The entire Barmer, Jaisalmer, knows that he is a member of the B team of Congress and is working accordingly. He was once a Congressman. The Congress candidate, too, is imported. Public support is with Narendra Modi," he added.
Kailash Choudhary, the sitting MP from Barmer, will face Congress candidate Ummeda Ram Beniwal and independent candidate Ravindra Singh Bhati.
Polling for 12 Lok Sabha seats concluded on April 19, while the remaining 13 seats will be polled in the second phase on April 26.
The election for 543 Lok Sabha seats is being held in seven phases starting April 19. The counting of the votes will be held on June 4. (ANI)
