Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy should be hanged: KT Rama Rao

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], January 5 (ANI): Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao said that Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy and Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi "should be hanged many times" for deceiving the people of Telangana, according to a statement from the party.
This came in response to the earlier remarks by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who heavily criticised former CM K Chandrashekar Rao and called for capital punishment for allegedly damaging Telangana's interests in river water sharing and for making money illegally through irrigation projects.
Reacting sharply to the Chief Minister's remarks, KTR said that if broken promises are taken into account, no one can calculate how many times Congress leaders should be hanged. He said people must deliver a verdict against Congress leadership for Rahul Gandhi's failure to fulfill the promise of two lakh jobs at Ashok Nagar Adda, for failing to implement farm loan waivers in Warangal, and for going back on the promise of 42% reservation for BCs in Kamareddy. He criticised that for cheating on 420 promises, Congress deserves to be punished by the people 420 times.
According to the party statement, KTR said Revanth Reddy knows only how to abuse, while BRS has the ability to respond in three or four languages if needed.
He said it is laughable for a person who does not know the difference between IIT and IIIT, or between the Bachawat Tribunal and the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal, to speak about Telangana's future.
He said someone who does not even know what the Krishna Basin or Godavari Basin is cannot understand what Telangana needs. He made strong remarks, calling it an ignorant and ostrich-like administration that knows nothing beyond looting and hiding.
KTR reminded that KCR is a leader who risked his own life for the liberation of Telangana, a great soul who contemplated his own death for the survival of Telangana. He praised KCR as a humane ruler who made barren lands fertile and brought life to regions echoing with death drums. He said speaking against such a leader with arrogance and hatred is igniting the hearts of the people of Telangana. (ANI)
