Kalanaur (Haryana) [India], October 1 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while addressing a public meeting in Basana village, Kalanaur, on Tuesday, said the BJP will emerge victorious with a huge margin in Haryana.
Addressing a public meeting in favour of BJP candidate Renu Dabla he appealed to the people of the area to make the BJP victorious with a huge margin. Haryana is going to put its stamp on the public welfare policies of the double-engine government.
He said that the BJP government has provided employment opportunities to youth, creating a record of 1.5 lakh jobs in the state.
"The BJP government in Haryana has provided employment to 1.5 lakh youth of the state, and this has been done with transparency, bypassing the employment slip and expenditure system," he said.
He further said, "Double speed of prosperity and development...Haryana will again elect a BJP government!"
He ridiculed the way Congress managed employment opportunities and provision to the youth of Haryana.
"You will remember that during the Congress time, the system of parchi-kharchi was in practice and our deserving and talented youths were not getting jobs," Dhami said.
He further said, "During the Congress rule, the land of the poor was snatched and sold to industrialists at throwaway prices, and atrocities were committed on Dalits and women."
"During the Congress rule, there was hooliganism in Haryana, which has been ended by the BJP. The immense enthusiasm of the godlike people towards the BJP in the public meeting is reflecting the victory proclamation of the 'BJP government once again," he added.
Haryana will go to the polls on October 5 to elect its 90-member state legislative assembly, with counting set to take place on October 8. In the 2019 elections, the BJP emerged as the single largest party, securing 40 seats, while Congress won 30 seats. (ANI)
