Bhatinda (Punjab) [India], May 14 (ANI): Congress leader and Punjab's Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal on Tuesday took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying he is a lion of a circus who can only entertain the people with gimmicks.
Referring to Prime Minister Modi's 'cloud-radar' remark with regard to the airstrike on terror camps in Pakistan's Balakot, Badal told ANI: "The Prime Minister is a lion of a circus and he has shamed our country with his cloud-radar suggestion to the Air Force officials."
"The Prime Minister has lost his right to ask for votes in Bhatinda as he failed on his promises," he said.
Asked to comment on Indian Overseas Congress (IOC) chief Sam Pitroda's 'Hua to Hua' remark on 1984 anti-Sikh riots, he said: "Rahul Gandhi has condemned his comment. Pitroda himself has apologised for his comment."
"Even though Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other members of their family have nothing to do with the culprits of anti-Sikh riots, still the Congress party has apologised for the riots," he said. (ANI)
