Kolkata, Aug. 24 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee will today inaugurate a mega food park at Murshidabad and also grace the convocation of Management Development Institute in Murshidabad at Jangipur before returning to New Delhi after a three-day visit to West Bengal.

Kolkata, Aug. 24 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee will today inaugurate a mega food park at Murshidabad and also grace the convocation of Management Development Institute in Murshidabad at Jangipur before returning to New Delhi after a three-day visit to West Bengal. Yesterday, he launched Kolkata Akashvani Kendra's Moitree Service in Bangla for listeners in Bangladesh. He said it can be an important channel of communication between India and Bangladesh. Both countries can work together for a SAARC initiative, he said. The president also attended the 125th anniversary celebrations of Bangiya Sahitya Parisad and inaugurated a new building of the Bharat Chamber of Commerce. On August 22, the President inaugurated a CII-IIEST Conference on the theme 'Enabling Make in India through Industry Academia Innovation Platform' in Kolkata. He also attended a function 'The Legacy to Humanity: Celebrating 150 years of Homeopathy' organised by the Dr. Prasanta Banerji Homeopathic Research Foundation in Kolkata as the chief guest. (ANI)
