Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], July 10 (ANI): As Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari presented the state's budget for 2024-25, Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma on Wednesday asserted that the budget has been prepared while keeping in mind the Prime Minister's vision of Viksit Bharat.
Addressing media persons, Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma said, "We had promised that 4 lakh govt jobs will be provided to youths and we have included that in our state budget...in one year, we will give government jobs to one lakh youths. We have presented this budget while keeping in mind the Prime Minister's vision of Vikshit Bharat. The participation of youths will increase as we will open colleges for sports and organize "Khelo Rajasthan" on the district level. Our government will work for the 2036 Olympics so that talented youths from our villages get the opportunity to come forward."
Apart from the Chief Minister, various other leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party have also reacted on the budget and said it will boost the state's development aspirations.
After presenting Rajasthan's Budget 2024-25, Rajasthan Deputy CM and Finance Minister Diya Kumari said, "We have thought about everyone, every section, and given something for everyone in this budget, whether it is about youths, women, farmers, sports, infrastructure. This time we have prepared this budget by looking at every section and I think that this time we have increased the infrastructure, and capital expenditure. This time we have increased the budget for infrastructure by 1.5 times to accelerate the vision of Vikshit Rajasthan (developed Rajasthan), in order to fulfil PM Modi's vision and goal of making India develop by 20247. I feel this budget will work as a foundation stone for this vision."

Describing Rajasthan's budget as the 'Aditya Budget', Bharatiya Janata Party leader Rajendra Rathore said, "This is Rajasthan's 'Aditya Budget'. The vision of Rajasthan's development till 2047 has been presented through this budget. The biggest capital expenditure till date will result in the creation of assets. If about Rs 44 thousand crore rupees will be spent on Rajasthan's infrastructure, then Rajasthan will be transformed into an advanced state. The work of laying its strong foundation has been done."

Meanwhile, Rajasthan BJP President CP Joshi stated, "The CM had said & we have mentioned in our Sankalp Patra that we will provide a cylinder for Rs. 450 and today the people of the state are getting that. We said that we would reduce the price of petrol and diesel, and we reduced the price of petrol and diesel. We said that we would increase the pension, and we increased that pension. We said we would increase 'Kishan Samman Nidhi' and increased it from the lands of Tonk."

The estimated revenue of the state for the financial year 2024-25 is Rs 2.64 lakh crores while the estimated expenditure is Rs 2.90 lakh crores.
