New Delhi [India], Feb. 28 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Israel this year. The dates of the Prime Minister's visit are yet to be finalised. The External Affairs Ministry Secretary (Economic Relations) Amar Sinha on Tuesday stated that a joint coordination committee will be created by India and Israel to plan out high-level political visits between both the nations. "We (India and Israel) will create a joint coordination committee which will plan out high level political visits apart from the other things," said Amar Sinha at an event to mark the commencement of commemoration of 25 years of diplomatic ties. "Both the governments are contemplating to hold a series of events on a variety of subjects to celebrate the occasion in a befitting manner. We are constantly trying to make it a more multi-dimensional relationship," added Sinha. India and Israel have been co-operating each other on many fronts including cooperation in Defense and in Agriculture and achieved milestones in fostering bilateral relationship. Through agricultural technology of Israel, India has set up 25 Centre of Excellences (CoEs) spread over nine Indian States for the benefits of Indian farmers. Both the countries are committed to further deepening and diversifying the relation in many areas including space, S&T, R&D, education, dairy and innovation. India established diplomatic ties with Israel in 1992. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to make a bilateral visit to the Jewish nation sometime later this year. (ANI)
