"PM Modi is standing with us, women of country can touch sky": Rajasthan DyCM extends wishes on International Women's Day

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also extended wishes to women on the auspicious occasion.

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], March 8 (ANI): Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister, Diya Kumari, on Saturday extended her wishes on International Women's Day and emphasized that with the support of the present government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, women have the potential to reach new heights, calling this the best time for women in the country and beyond.
"I congratulate everyone on the occasion of International Women's Day. I just want to say that we should keep moving forward and sky is the limit. We can do whatever we want, as this is the best time right now. There is such a government in the country, PM Modi is standing with us and I think that the women of the country can touch the sky. This is a golden opportunity for women in the country and outside," Kumari said.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also extended wishes to women on the auspicious occasion.
In a post on X, CM Sharma said, "Infinite best wishes to all the residents of the state and the entire mother power on 'International Women's Day'! Women are not only the pivot of the family but also the foundation of the development of society and the nation. Their contribution is invaluable and indispensable in every sphere of life."
"In line with the mantra of 'Nari Tum Narayani', our government in Rajasthan is continuously ensuring that women get the best opportunities and resources for their rights, education, health and economic independence. Let us all together build a society where there is no place for gender discrimination and women can fully develop their talent and potential," the Rajasthan CM said.
In an initiative, the Central Railway said that for the first time, a Vande Bharat Express was fully operated by an all-women crew, showcasing the empowerment of women.
"For the first time ever, a Vande Bharat Express is being fully operated by an all-women crew, departing from CSMT on this #InternationalWomensDay! Train No. 22223 CSMT - Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express left CSMT today with an all-women crew," the Central Railway posted on X.
It further mentioned that Loco Pilot, Assistant, Train Manager and Ticket Examiners were all women crew.
President Droupadi Murmu, in her message on the eve of International Women's Day, observed every year on March 8, extended her greetings to all women across the country.
"On the occasion of International Women's Day, I extend my heartiest greetings to all sisters and daughters," the President's Secretariat said in a release.
"International Women's Day is an occasion to honour the achievements of women power and their unique contribution to the country and society. Women are the foundation of our family, society and the nation. Women have successfully carved out their identities in diverse fields, despite facing adversities and challenges", President Murmu said. (ANI)
