PM Modi 'blackmails' people by busting into tears, says Mayawati
New Delhi [India], Nov. 26 (ANI): Alleging that the demonetisation decision was taken by the Centre for political gains, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Saturday said it has brought nothing but economic emergency, as people are suffering due to it. She accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of blackmailing people by busting into tears on several occasions. "It's fine that the Prime Minister has left his home and family for the country, but it doesn't mean that he will cause inconvenience to the people of the country," said Mayawati. Asserting that the Prime Minister is "scared" of addressing opposition in either of the Houses over the demonetisation issue, she said, "If riots and scuffles break out due to the prevailing condition, then only the Prime Minister will be responsible for that." Stating that there is no sign of tension on the faces of BJP leaders, she alleged that they had been given enough time to invest black money before the Prime Minister's demonetisation announcement. The BSP chief said the BJP faces danger from the BSP only in the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls and not from the Samajwadi Party or the Congress, who are surviving on oxygen. (ANI)
