Mau (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 29 (ANI): Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said that the people of the Ghosi constituency will outcast the BJP candidate in the upcoming assembly bypolls next month.
Akhilesh Yadav visited Ghosi in Mau district and campaigned for SP candidate Sudhakar Singh for the upcoming bypoll, which is scheduled for September 5.
While addressing the public meeting, Akhilesh Yadav said, "People of Ghosi have made their mind to outcast the BJP in this bypoll as the BJP candidate has broken the trust of voters."

Akhilesh Yadav further mentioned the political support his party is getting in this by-election.
"We can see flags of many opposition parties in this rally, which signifies that SP candidate Sudhkar Singh is winning this election," he said.
Akhilesh Yadav also targeted the BJP-led state government on the doubling of farmers' income issue.
"They (BJP) have mentioned that the income of farmers will be doubled, but it did not happen. Nothing will happen with the double-engine government until the driver of the engine changes," he said.
While addressing the media about his campaign, he said, When I was not campaigning, the BJP had a problem, and now that I am campaigning in Ghosi, they have a problem with it."
Akhilesh Yadav further extended his support to the Bihar government in conducting a caste census and said, "It is the need of the hour."
Ghosi assembly bypoll is scheduled for September 5, and its result will be announced on September 8.
Ghosi bypoll is a crucial affair for SP, as it will be the first show of strength for the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc.(ANI)
