New Delhi [India], October 20 (ANI) : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led-central government and Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Sunday, saying that the law and order in the national capital has gone from "bad to worse."
He said that under the BJP government, people are scared to step out of their homes, thinking that they might get shot anytime.

Speaking on a firing incident that took place between two groups in Jahangirpuri, he said, "Under the BJP government and their LG, the law and order situation has gone from bad to worse. People in Delhi are scared when they step out of their homes, thinking they might get shot at somewhere. Gangsters and gang wars have now become the identity of Delhi. LG sahab should return to Delhi immediately. Administration cannot run on God's mercy."
Earlier, bullets were fired during an alleged clash between two groups in the Jahangirpuri area of Delhi. The incident left one person dead and two other injured.
Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi also criticised the BJP over the rising pollution levels in the national capital. Accusing the party of playing "dirty politics," she said that is the real cause behind both air and water pollution in the city.
She further assured that under the leadership of AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi government is actively working to resolve the situation.
Promising action to combat the rising pollution levels, Atishi said, "We are continuously working to find solutions under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal. For the past two years, we have been defoaming the Yamuna, and we will begin this process again tonight."
Speaking on the same issue, AAP leader Satyendar Jain accused the BJP of arresting AAP leaders to obstruct their efforts to clean the Yamuna.
"Kejriwal promised to clean the Yamuna, and we began working on this at a rapid pace. When the BJP realised we were making progress, they arrested several of our leaders. I was in charge of the Yamuna cleaning project, and that's why I was also arrested," said Jain. (ANI)
