Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) [India], December 23 (ANI): Taking a dig at Samajwadi Party (SP) Chief Akhilesh Yadav, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that PDA refers to "Parivar Development Authority".
PDA is the term coined by Akhilesh Yadav, which means Pichde, Dalit and Alpasankhyak.
"PDA means Parivar Development Authority because Akhilesh Yadav is focused on the development of his family. The opposition has lost the semi-finals and they will lose the Lok Sabha polls, too," Maurya said while addressing the media in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly.
Speaking on the Lok Sabha polls, he added, "The country is on the path of progress. The government is taking the country to the path of development through 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will emerge victorious in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls".
The preparations by the BJP for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls are in full swing.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave "Abki Baar 50% vote paar" slogan during a BJP office-bears meeting in the party headquarters in the national capital, setting a target of a big win for the party in the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
Meanwhile, the UP Deputy CM also spoke on the consecration ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Mandir, he said, "Lord Ramlala will be in Ayodhya forever. You can get a glimpse of him anytime. Now, the state is not ruled by the ones who would open fire at Ram Bhakts".
The consecration ceremony scheduled for 22 January will witness the installation of the idol of Ram Lalla at the grand temple. It is expected to be attended by hundreds of officials including the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The trust has also invited 4,000 saints of all sects for the ceremony.
On the 22nd of January, 2024 one of the three idols being made from two stones brought in from Karnataka and One from Rajasthan will be placed in the sanctum of the grand temple. The best idol from three stones will be selected in the first week of January for the consecration ceremony. (ANI)
