New Delhi [India], Nov. 8 (ANI): A passenger travelling on Jet Airways flight 9W 202 on November 7 from Delhi to Doha succumbed to a serious illness.

New Delhi [India], Nov. 8 (ANI): A passenger travelling on Jet Airways flight 9W 202 on November 7 from Delhi to Doha succumbed to a serious illness. Medical assistance was duly coordinated prior to the flight's arrival in Karachi, however, the passenger succumbed to his illness on board. "One of the guest developed a medical condition and the Captain decided to land at the nearest airport given the emergency. In Medical assistance was duly coordinated prior to the flight's arrival, however, the guest succumbed to arrival in Karachi," said a Jet Airways statement. "The airline staff are making full arrangements to hand over the body to the authorities as per standard operating procedures. Jet Airways has taken utmost care to ensure that the family of the deceased are duly informed and is also providing all the required assistance," said the airline. There were 141 guests on board the Boeing 737 aircraft, and the airline is planning re-accommodation on alternate flights for the rest of guests, who missed their connections due to this unfortunate development.
