Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 28 (ANI): Amid the speculations over the Chief Minister post in Maharashtra after the Mahayuti alliance swept the 2024 general assembly elections, Shiv Sena leader Uday Samant from Eknath Shinde’s faction on Thursday said that his party will accept the decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah

Taking a dig at the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), Samant said that they should introspect over Maharashtra not getting a Leader of Opposition (LoP). He also said that some MLAs from the MVA were in touch with Shinde.

Eknath Shinde has clarified his role and also expressed gratitude for the mandate given (by the people). CM Eknath Shinde has worked as a common man. I am proud that I am working with Eknath Shinde. He said that he would serve the people of Maharashtra; the whole country saw his nature yesterday. Shiv Sena will accept whatever decision Narendra Modi and Amit Shah take. MVA should introspect since there is no Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Maharashtra,” Maharashtra Industries Minister Uday Samant told ANI.

Samant further informed that some of the MLAs from the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) camp were in touch with Eknath Shinde

“After the meeting, whatever Eknath Shinde decides, Shiv Sena and all MLAs will wholeheartedly support it. MVA leaders are in touch with Shinde, but forming the government is our first priority. You will get to know later who will come with us," the Shiv Sena leader said. (ANI)
