New Delhi [India], November 8 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party National convenor Arvind Kejriwal addressed his supporters and party workers in a video message on Friday, in anticipation of the Delhi assembly elections, which could be held in a few months from now.
Reaching out to his party supporters, Kejriwal said that they have "gone through difficult times" in the last couple of years.
"We have gone through the most difficult times in the last two years. Many attempts were made to break and buy us but we did not break. All the workers of Aam Aadmi Party have become a family with more strength and passion," he said in a message.
Saying that there will be many attempts to defeat them, he added, "In the next few months, in the Delhi Assembly elections, these people will do everything to defeat us in the Delhi assembly elections, they will all their might, but we should not let these forces win under any circumstances, for the first time I have seen basic issues of the people being talked about. For the first time people have heard the issues of school, roads and other issues such like that," Kejriwal said.
The party has further intensifying its efforts ahead of the upcoming assembly elections with the party's national convenor and senior leaders focusing to engage with voters and strengthen grassroots support.
AAP National Convenor and party leaders are now in the second phase of conducting padyatras (foot marches) across different legislative constituencies. The party has also been forming booth-level and mandal-level committees to ensure better organization and coordination at the local level.
These committees will play a key role in mobilizing support and ensuring smooth execution of the party's election strategies.
AAP is also set to launch a District Officer Convention, which will begin on November 11.
This convention aims to bolster the morale of district-level officers and activists by acknowledging their efforts and reinforcing their role in the party's election campaign.
The strategic combination of padyatras, committee formations, and the upcoming convention is part of AAP's broader strategy to consolidate its ground-level support and ensure a strong presence in the upcoming elections. (ANI)
