Mysuru (Karnataka) [India], December 13 (ANI): Congress workers demonstrated in front of BJP MP Pratap Simha's office in Karnataka's Mysuru, following the incident of a security breach in the Lower House of Parliament on Wednesday.
Later, the police detained the protestors.
The opposition earlier alleged that the Mysuru-Kodagu MP issued passes to the two individuals who earlier today caused a security breach in the Lok Sabha and have demanded to suspend the MP from the House.
"BJP MP Pratap Simha gave two (Parliament) passes through which these two people (intruders) entered. The security of the Parliament and the country was breached. TMC's Mahua Moitra was expelled for sharing her login ID and password, which became a question of national security. Today the BJP MP has done an irresponsible act by giving passes to both of them. So this is the demand of AITC that the MP be expelled from Parliament because national security has been compromised here," TMC leader Shashi Panja said.
In a major security breach during the Zero Hour in Parliament, two men, both carrying canisters that emitted yellow smoke, jumped from the visitors' gallery into the Lok Sabha chamber before they were overpowered by the MPs.
Simultaneously, two protestors--Neelam (42) and Amol (25)--protested outside the Parliament with similar gas canisters.
Delhi Police sources said the preliminary probe revealed that all four people and an unidentified fifth person came from outside the national capital.(ANI)
