Mumbai [India], Nov. 23 (ANI): Condemning Pakistan for mutilating the body of an army soldier, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday said India will not take this incident lying down and would give a befitting lifetime response to its neighbour.

Mumbai [India], Nov. 23 (ANI): Condemning Pakistan for mutilating the body of an army soldier, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday said India will not take this incident lying down and would give a befitting lifetime response to its neighbour. "The Machil incident has saddened the entire nation. The fact that one of the soldier's body has been mutilated is a testimony to the fact that Pakistan continues its dastardly acts, but India is not going to take this lying down. The Modi government will give befitting reply and an answer that they will remember for a lifetime," BJP member Shaina NC told ANI. Three Indian soldiers were killed on Tuesday. The body of one of the soldiers was found mutilated. "Three soldiers killed in action on LoC in Machhal. Body of one soldier mutilated, retribution will be heavy for this cowardly act," the army tweeted. This is the second such instance of a soldier's body being mutilated near the LoC in North Kashmir in the last month. The Northern Command also vowed "heavy retribution for the cowardly act". The incident took place in Machil sector of Kupwara district in north Kashmir. (ANI)
