Pak through its action should show that it's peace-loving nation: BJP
New Delhi [India], Apr 13 (ANI): Retorting to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif comments that his is a peace loving country, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday said that if the Asian neighbour claims to be a nation that hails tranquility then it must exude the same through its action. BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli said if Pakistan claims to propagate peace then it must stop breeding terror and should start taking action against those who brew terrorism. "Pakistan can be a peace loving nation but if it has to be so, it must show it and display in its actions. By breeding terrorism, by sending terrorist against India, by not closing terrorist camps, by letting terrorists move freely, by not taking action against 26/11 attack, that is no indication of a peace loving nation," Kohli told ANI. Describing Pakistan as a peace loving country, Sharif earlier this week said that Islamabad has always maintained a policy of having friendly relations with other countries, particularly its neighbours. Sharif was addressing a passing out parade of cadets at Asghar Khan PAF Academy in Risalpur on Tuesday, reports Radio Pakistan. Expressing satisfaction over the success of Operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorism, Sharif said it has brought about a tremendous improvement in the internal security environment. Sharif's statement came hours after India's External Affairs Sushma Swaraj warned Islamabad not to go ahead with the death sentence for Indian citizen Kulbhushan Jadhav, which New Delhi would see as an act of "pre-mediated murder".
