A day ahead of the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) held a press conference in New Delhi on Thursday, addressed by ABVP National General Secretary Virendra Singh Solanki.

The clarification came in response to a media report published on September 16 titled "In seat Kejriwal lost by thin margin, nearly 40% names added before 2025 polls now missing in SIR draft", which raised questions over names not appearing in the draft electoral roll of AC-40, including electors added before the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections. 

The seized stock consists of multiple illegal categories -- a significant portion of the haul is Foreign Made Foreign Liquor (FMFL), smuggled directly from abroad; Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) mixed stock was recovered during the raid; Defense-Only Liquor, stock legally restricted solely to military personnel and unverified suspected spurious liquor: stock requiring lab testing to trace its origin.

AIIMS New Delhi has transferred technology for an Artificial Intelligence-based mammography interpretation model developed at the institute to BPL Technologies Limited. The technology transfer, held on September 16, marks an industry-academia collaboration aimed at supporting further development, validation and potential implementation of the model to assist radiologists, particularly in areas with limited access to breast imaging specialists.
