"Our government has done as promised,” Karnataka Dy CM D K Shivakumar on five guarantee schemes

Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Tuesday claimed that the Siddaramaiah-led Karnataka government has implemented all the promises made in the Congress guarantee card before the election and said, “Our government has done as promised”.

Mysuru (Karnataka) [India], August 29 (ANI): Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Tuesday claimed that the Siddaramaiah-led Karnataka government has implemented all the promises made in the Congress guarantee card before the election and said, “Our government has done as promised”. 
Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, after offering prayers at the Chamundeshwari Temple along with Chief Minister Siddaramiah, Shivakumar said, "With the blessings of Goddess Chamundeshwari Devi and the people of the state, our government has succeeded in implementing all the guarantee schemes. Our government has done as promised in the presence of the goddess before the elections,” he said. 
"Before the election, we had offered puja to Chamundeshwari Devi, the goddess of this country, by placing the Congress guarantee card. Grilahakshmi Yojana will reach 1.10 crore women, Griha Jyoti Yojana has reached 1.41 lakh households, zero electricity bills have been received, and 46 crore ladies have travelled by bus. 1.39 crore families have benefited from Annabhagya, we have achieved a lot in 100 days," he said. 
The Deputy Chief Minister further added, “In 100 days, our Siddaramaiah-led government has made huge contributions. The relationship between this Goddess and us is like the relationship between a devotee and the Lord. Whatever our demand is, Devi has fulfilled it.”
“The people of Mysore have given great strength to the formation of our government. We are starting the Griha Lakshmi scheme here to pray for the blessings of Goddess Chamundeshwari on the women of the state. The programme will be telecast live in around 12,600 locations," he said. 
Meanwhile, while answering the reporter's question about allegations by the opposition parties that the relationship between CM Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar is getting worse, the Deputy Chief Minister said, “Our relationship is getting much better after their complaints, and you will keep watching us together.”
The Karnataka government will on Wednesday unveil the Gruha Lakshmi Yojna. The Gruha Lakshmi guarantee scheme, provides Rs 2,000 monthly allowance to
women heads of BPL families. It will be launched in a grand event in Mysuru on August 30. The event will be attended by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and former presidents Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. (ANI)
