Oppn accuses Modi Govt. over Sukma Naxal attack

New Delhi [India], Apr 25 (ANI): The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Tuesday blamed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government for being unsuccessful over the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) encounter with the Naxals of Chhattisgarh's Sukma that took place yesterday. NCP leader Tariq Anwar while accusing Prime Minister Modi alleged that the Centre has been unsuccessful in resolving the issue in spite of his repeated assurance to control such instances happening in and across the country. "The Centre has been responsible for the losses of lives in Sukma encounter. Once again the Modi Government has been unsuccessful to resolve the issue of Naxal attack which has lead to loss of twenty-five CRPFs," Anwar told ANI. He further said that Prime Minister Modi has repeatedly assured that demonetisation would surely bring such instances in control reducing the Naxal attacks across the country. Resonating similar sentiments, Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agrawal has expressed his annoyance over the CRPF encounter with the Naxals, saying that the Centre must have strongly trained the paramilitary force to fight for security of the country. "The Centre must have seriously trained the paramilitary force so as to fight for the security of the nation," Agrawal told ANI. In the deadliest Maoist ambush in years, 25 men of the CRPF died yesterday in Chhattisgarh's Sukma area. Eight people were injured in the attack. (ANI)
