One can't even expect civilized enmity from Pak: Baloch activist
New Delhi [India], Apr. 12 (ANI): Condemning the death sentence awarded to Kulbhushan Jadhav, Baloch activist Mazdak Dilshad Baloch on Wednesday said the entire story of the alleged Indian spy's trial is being fabricated by Islamabad, adding that India should raise this issue on international forums. "The issue should be raised internationally because even on humanitarian grounds Jadhav was not given any right. Even if General Bajwa or Nawaz Sharif will be held and tortured in ISI military cell, then they will also accept that they are RAW agents. The entire story of Jadhav's trial is fake and fabricated by the Pakistan military court," Dilshad told ANI. Dilshad said that as alleged by the Pakistani military court, Jadhav was never seen spying for India in Balochistan and added that the entire story is made up by Islamabad to malign the image of New Delhi. "One can't even expect civilized enmity from Pakistan after what they are doing with the Baloch people. Indian should take some strong step against this," he said. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has warned Islamabad of consequences in bilateral relations if Jadhav's death sentence is carried out. She said if the decision of the Pakistani court is implemented then it will be a pre-meditated murder while asserting that there is no evidence against Jadhav. Jadhav, who was arrested in March last year by Pakistan and accused by the country of spying, was sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on Monday triggering tension between India and Pakistan. Observers and experts on criminal or espionage-related laws in a majority of countries have suggested that the death sentence against Jadhav is a clear violation of Article 36 of the Vienna Convention that makes it mandatory for every government to provide consular access to an arrested foreign national by officials of his/her government.
